General Information
The Battlefield Park Swim Club (BPSC) is a swim team formed in January 2006 from the previous swim club named the Petersburg Swim Association (PSA), which was originally formed in 1996 as one combined swim team consisting primarily of members from both the Battlefield Park Swim & Racquet Club and the Country Club of Petersburg. Just as the previous swim club strived to enlist new swimmers, and provide an environment of competitive fun and learning for swim team members of all ages, the swim club also strives to do the same. BPSC allows swimmers ages 5-17 to participate as members of the team even if their families are not members of the Battlefield Park Swim & Racquet Club, so the team is even more representative of the surrounding community at large. The team competes against six other swim clubs in the surrounding area Chester Recreation Association (CRA), Rivers Bend Swim Club(RB), Southbend Swim Team(SB), Stoney Glen Swim Association (SG), Swim & Yacht Club(SYC), and Wood Dale Swim
